THREE POWERS

The three powers refers to the separation of powers into Parliament, the Executive and the Judiciary.

See below for a discussion on the interrelationship between personality characteristics, the existing governing roles, and characteristics in society that are not the biggest benefit for all people everywhere.

PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS

Interpersonal personality characteristics are defined as personality characteristics that are necessary and sufficient for:

  1. Mutually beneficial relationships between two people, and

  2. The biggest benefit for all people everywhere.

Examples of interpersonal personality characteristics are empathy, remorse, and respect for the boundaries of other people.

Complementary personality characteristics are defined as those that are the complete and total absence of each of the interpersonal personality characteristics.

Examples of complementary personality characteristics are no empathy, no remorse, and no respect for the boundaries of other people.

The interpersonal and complementary personality characteristics are discussed further as set out at the following link.

EXISTING GOVERNING ROLES

Governing roles in New Zealand are currently structured so that:

  1. People with complementary personality characteristics are well adapted to succeed long term in those governing roles, and

  2. Characteristics that are not the biggest benefit for all people are more than likely to occur in society.

All complementary personality characteristics make a person well adapted to succeed long term in the existing governing roles, and characteristics that are not the biggest benefit for all people are more than likely to occur in society.

The existing governing roles are discussed further as set out at the following link.

Characteristics of Society

Society has characteristics that are not the biggest benefit for all people everywhere. Examples of such characteristics include:

  1. Representation in governance,

  2. Power and control over resources, and

  3. War.

The above three characteristics are discussed further as set out at the following link.
